Learner must take a deep breath and hold breath to ensure they are floating above the pool floor. Learner slowly curls up and bends knees into tummy tucking arms around knees whilst the chin rests on the chest. Maintain the tucked position for three seconds whilst remaining ‘suspended’ in the water – may be either above or below the waterline.
