Perform a front crawl start, then kick in a streamlined position under water up to a maximum of 15 metres from the start point (wall). Transfer into stroke and complete the remainder of the 25 metres.
a. Start with either a track or grab start.
b. Enter the water in as streamlined a position as possible - hands, arms, head, torso, hips, legs and feet entering into the same position.
c. Maintain the streamlined position under water (see above).
d. The swimmer should travel a maximum of 15 metres before the head breaks the surface.
e. Once the swimmer has broken the surface they will continue swimming
front crawl.
f. The swimmer will end with a finish.
